Jelecos Acquires Omaha-based Exanium
Building on Momentum of Industry’s Consolidation
OMAHA, Neb., (April 16th, 2004) – Jelecos,
a hosting, development, and managed service provider, announced
today it has completed the acquisition of Exanium Global
Internet Services' Hosting and Development Division. Terms of the acquisition
were not disclosed.
News of the acquisition comes after several studies report increased
consolidation activities in the Internet Services and Hosting market.
“Today’s announcement is an exciting development,” said
Leon Thomas, president of Jelecos. “It is a classic example
of the consolidation seen lately in the Internet services industry.
Companies no longer need to rely on multiple vendors to develop
and host a website or E-commerce solution. These companies are migrating
to full-service hosting, development and managed service providers
like Jelecos.”
Exanium Global Internet Services, the privately owned Omaha-based
managed Internet service company, provided shared hosting, dedicated
hosting and consulting solutions, along with E-commerce and managed
security services.
Today’s announcement is poised to strengthen Jelecos’ technology
solutions services for companies in the region that have no IT staff
devoted to Internet-related projects or have limited IT staff resources.
The acquisition gives these companies access to a full spectrum
of custom-built, Internet-based services and technologies.
Jelecos’ technology services including hosting, web development,
business intelligence, and content management.
